Terms and Conditions
By enrolling in the NYS Pistol Permit Course, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Registration and Payment
All deposits and payments are non-refundable. They however, may be applied to another class within 12 months of the date payment, providing forty-eight (48) hour cancellation notice is made prior to the start of the scheduled class. Classes may be rescheduled one (1) time within the 12 month period.
- Registration for the course is on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Payment is required in full at the time of registration.
- Refunds will only be issued if the course is cancelled by the organizers.
Attendance and Participation
- Participants must arrive on time for all sessions of the course.
- Participants are expected to actively engage in all course activities and discussions.
- Any disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the course without a refund.
Safety and Conduct
- All participants must adhere to the strict safety guidelines set forth by the instructors.
- Firearms must be handled with care and respect at all times.
- Any violation of safety protocols may result in immediate removal from the course.
Certification and Permits
- Completion of the course does not guarantee the issuance of a NYS pistol permit.
- Participants are responsible for applying for their own permits following the completion of the course.
- Organizers will provide a certificate of completion to all participants who successfully finish the course.
Liability
- Participants acknowledge and accept all risks associated with handling firearms during the course.
- Organizers and instructors are not liable for any accidents or injuries that may occur during the course.
